This clip is a music preview to the MELIOR Opus Griot opening scene. Let your mind envision a little girl, thought lost at Sea, and her journey to swim throughout life’s struggles, time-travelling between the ocean floor and land, for centuries.

Film projections onto the stage will appear to be happening in real time. The surrealism produced by visual media technology will engage the audience with the mystical elements of this fantasy whilst blending the connecting factors that all humans can identify with. Simultaneously, interpretive dancers will translate the storyline with their body form of expressions as the MELIOR Chamber Quintet (MCQ), bring atmospheric sounds to fuel the imagination for what could be for the BETTER, (MELIOR), of us all.

Throughout the twelve scenes, the main character, Cassie, ages from Three Earth Years to Sixty-Three Earth Years, witnessing the continued cruelty of people to each other across every culture. Yet, amidst the harshness, she heeds the calling to share the gift of harmony.
