“Silver Seas” - is the second movement of the opening scene. This footage was filmed by Carleen on her phone. She recorded the music on her laptop for the musicians to study. Her spoken words and poem singing introduces the MELIOR story.

Upon the silver seas of Ethiopian reef
Under the cloak of darkness in 1960
Cassie has her first open waters journey
Through pounding waves of higher learning
A music poet time-travelling messenger
She’s yet to know this, MELIOR compels deliverance
Swept away spiralling amongst waterfall scenes
Of land dwellers destroying their blessings
For centuries
On earth, in the distance from the daylight
There are powers that be charging a fee
For every insight
Yet, YEMONJA surfaces above the shimmering tides
From an ocean floor of elevated minds
Nine land dweller days later
On her Grandfather’s porch
Cassie returns, soaking wet, still, a miracle sourced
Portals to past and future millenniums
She sings MELIOR messages to dispel oppression
Alkebulan mermaids sounding gifts of uplift
From the Silver Seas under the moonlit sky
